LOVE IS EVERYWHERE FENCE WEAVE (2021)
“Love is Everywhere” is a woven fence mural created as part of my collaborative work with teens at The Community Art Center. It is located at the corner of Cherry St and School St in Cambridge, MA. Teen artists created digital designs that were voted on by the community. They then installed the artwork using colored fence tape. This project was commissioned by MIT Investment Management Company and was completed with the purpose of beautifying a vacant lot.
Each teen proposed their own designs for the mural using a digital grid system to create a rendering, filling in each square and using a color palette based on product availability. The final design was a combination of several teen’s proposals.
