Butterfly Project (2020-21)
The Butterfly Project was commissioned by the Public Art Office of Charleston, WV, for which I created five large-scale butterflies for installation throughout the downtown area. For this project, I cut and shaped each piece from aluminum panels and painted them with mural-grade acrylics. The butterflies were then installed by the Public Art Office, who also painted the shadows directly onto the wall underneath the panels.
