CONTACT (2013)
Contact was a cohesive body of work inspired by the many children’s stories, fiction and non-fiction novels, and films and documentaries, that represent the Western colonial world’s rendering of life beyond its parameters. It consisted of paintings, and temporary sculpture and installation art. Part of the installation, and heard through the exhibition space, was a transistor radio emitting static while occassionally picking up random signals.
